The boyhome home of Sinclair Lewis, America's first winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, has been carefully restored to the turn of the century period when Lewis lived here with his parents and two brothers. Other landmarks include the birthplace home of Sinclair Lewis, the Corner Drug, and the Stockade. The Lynx National Golf Course is just 1.5 miles south of Sauk Centre, nestled along the winding Sauk River. This championship 18-hole golf course was designed by professional golf architect Mike Morley.
